The most popular birds in our Audubon line have been refreshed to provide vivid colors, clarity and exactness in appearance like never before. Educational and collectible, our Western Meadowlark stuffed animal is so realistic the design is approved by Audubon and the bird call comes straight from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's wildlife recordings.
Hear this bird in the wild:
...soft, lovely, snuggable, realistic, unique, irresistible! A wonderful toy!
he/she is so cute. The western meadow lark was my late mother's most loved bird. The meadow lark's song brings memories of my dear mother back to me. My mother was a teacher (schoolmarm) in rural eastern Montana and was responsible for some 20-25 students ranging from 6 to 14 years old. Most of the older boys rode their horses to school complete with rifles used for hunting or trapping after school. My mother kept a .22 rifle stored out of sight near her desk to protect her flock (not birds) and shoot an occasional rattle snake in the school yard. Times have changed but the melodious song of the meadow lark has not.
A beautiful song. The sound is exquisite. It truly is a meadowlark.
Great sound. My favorite bird growing up in Concord, California.o
