CLEVELAND, Ohio – January, 2015 – At Toy Fair 2015, there’s going to be a “stampede for stuffed animals,” according to Vishnu Chandran, President of Wild Republic. That’s because Wild Republic is launching the most innovative and unique new product design in its 35-year history. In fact, the design is so novel that it is patent pending.
“Wild Republic strongly believes this new design will be incredibly collectible and in demand by consumers,” says Chandran. “We’ve never had such positive reactions expressed by both parents and children during consumer focus groups.”
Wild Republic is so excited about this big launch that it won’t actually unveil the new product until the Toy Fair exhibition to be held February 14-17 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Toy Fair is the world’s largest toy event and attracts retail buyers and enthusiasts from all over the globe.
Over a third of Wild Republic’s 2,200 square foot Toy Fair boothis expected to feature design elements such as changing landscapes, a personal tour guide and authentic animal sounds, all meant to capture the heart and imagination of this game changing product. The set, built by acclaimed production set designer, Roger Ambrose, will offer an interactive experience unprecedented in the trade show industry.
“In the toy industry, you hit lots of singles,” said Chandran. “But every so often you get a chance to hit a homerun. This is going to be a homerun.”
